We were thrilled to join CTV’s Your Morning with Anne-Marie to share the story behind Getwell Goods and why we set out to make hospital stays a little more comfortable.

Born From Real Hospital Experience

Getwell Goods was created after our co-founder spent a lot of time as a patient—through major surgeries, chemotherapy and many nights in hospital.

That experience highlighted something surprisingly difficult: when someone you care about is in the hospital, what do you actually bring or send them?

Flowers and treats are thoughtful, but hospital patients often need practical things that can make their stay more comfortable.

That's what inspired our hospital care packages.

What Do Hospital Patients Actually Need?

Our Hospital Kit brings together simple, useful items chosen with the realities of a hospital stay in mind, including a soft wearable blanket, lightweight slippers, an insulated water bottle, sleep essentials and a notebook.

Each item serves a practical purpose—from staying warm and comfortable to making trips to the washroom easier, getting some sleep in a busy hospital environment, staying hydrated and keeping track of information from doctors and nurses.

If you're wondering what to buy someone in the hospital, our goal is to make that decision easier.

A thoughtful hospital gift doesn't need to be elaborate. Sometimes the most appreciated gifts are simply the things that make an unfamiliar hospital room feel a little more comfortable and personal.

Our Hospital Kit was designed by a patient, for patients, based on the things we wished we'd had during our own hospital stays.
